Gotta disagree with the opinion expressed on music. The incredible amount of styles, techniques and instruments from every era and from all over the world being employed by good composers has resulted in wonderfully complex and flavorful music surpassing most of what people of the past had available to them. The Tokyo indie scene alone could probably keep me entertained for a lifetime. The point about fragmented culture stands and it's a problem but I can't imagine voluntarily listening to the radio or whatever.

Seriously how many more of these are on the docket? And when is AA? That’s the one I heard about and was looking forward to most (several have been good) and yet I have a suspicion AA will be the last of 39 of these.

This sphere is falling into a circle jerk mentality. Burdens critique on music especially the lack of local musicians playing at bars is nonsense. Get out and live your lives guys, stop endlessly critiquing on the internet.

Oh, that's nothing compared to the circle jerk that happened a few weeks back on AA's Unpopular Opinions stream touching on Richard Dawkins calling himself a "Cultural Christian" (in which he could have easily just meant "I grew up with Christian parents, therefore I have been subjected to and consider myself part of a mostly Christian culture"), particularly from Mr. Dee's unhinged rant against him, telling Dawkins to "Burn in Hell" at the end of it. "Music artists are selling out what made them great to be more popular" and "Music and media was better in the past" is a pretty tired cliche at this point, and something I don't put too much stock in (after all, media is entirely subjective) but there are signs of core issues in popular pop music and with woke Disney movies or the post-2016 Marvel movies. Pretty annoyed J. Burden didn't even seem to give a second of thought to the fact that politics could be easily argued to be a greater influencing factor than trying to appeal to a wider (international) market.
