Can anyone explain the reason why Hettsu sends the signal through a dedicated DI box and then into the Darkglass Preamp? Is it to have a clean DI signal as well as the one from the Darkglass? How do you use this?
@needtashow Жыл бұрын
I've noticed many of the great bassists have a DI box in their studio setup and live.
@NewAeonWarlord Жыл бұрын
@@needtashow yes, to be able to provide a DI signal to play through the PA directly but what I don't understand in this case is why she has one in addition to the Darkglass preamp which already has this functionality, especially in front of the preamp which means the DI signal wouldn't be influenced by the preamp.

@@NewAeonWarlord .. and with an equalizer also. Ha, I'm not great at puzzles. :) = btw, it's so cool to see these videos.

@@needtashow Oh! Everyone needs an equalizer to dial in their sound so that it's "just so"! This video gives me a new appreciation for Ibanez and the other all musical equipment from Japan. I thought I saw a Roland JC series guitar amp in the picture, do they use Marshall's as well? What do they use to amp the bass? I know Sennhiezer (sp.? And yes, they're a German company...) makes great mic's but I really know their headphones are the bomb!
