He was gassed up by his homies to drop this track and he said some things that he didn't truly believe. I'm sure he still thinks he's the best rapper and he can out rap Kendrick, but it seems he would rather try to out rap Kendrick on a track with him in a competitive spirit instead of direct disses especially when that's his mans. It always felt that way from the shots from Kendrick to Cole on Like That too. For Kendrick, it was competitive with Cole, but it was more personal with Drake. Cole shouldn't have dropped the diss track to begin with, or at least not come at it that way by attacking his discography and shit when he doesn't even truly believe what he said on that track. He should've just let his pen speak for itself and just try to out bar him. This shit sucks for all of us that wanted to see them both go at it competitively fr. Mick Jenkins had probably the best takes on this on his Twitter.
