Oh and J Cole is huge in the US he is right next to Kendrick. They are both the GOATs of MODERN day hip hop. Edit: to add on to what I was saying, J Cole may not seem that large also because he’s very humble. Because mumble rappers repeat a lot of stuff in the their music. and it shows how far people will go to just for some money and how it can kill you and how it is also a drug. Dope video guys, I'm really happy for you both to be able to catch hip hop lyrics so much easier now, like you mentioned, hearing something without having to look it up for the first time is dope. One of the best feelings to me is revisting a song and hearing something I didn't catch on the first listen. You guys are a reaction channel, but for most hip hop you'll listen to on your own time I feel it helps to vibe with a song then replay it to actively catch lyrics, at least that's what I like to do. I think you guys would like this dude called Oddisee, he has this song, You Grew Up, it's fantastic, easy to catch lyrics for the most part, a great vibe, and cool storytelling. I promise any one that sees this would not be disappointed.

Hey I've been really enjoying watching your channel. It's not just the music but also your demeanors, banters and approaches to music really sells me on your stuff. Since it looks like you guys started out about two months ago, I hope you won't mind two suggestions. [1st]: I think you guys should have playlists organized by artists, at least for artists you guys enjoy or will revisit more than a couple of times. Part of the fun of watching you guys react, is just seeing how your perspective on an artist or group evolves as you listen to more of their work. Especially, since J. Cole was the first rapper that really sold me on the beauty of rap-I find it really enjoyable to watch your videos on J. Cole sequentially. [2nd]: You guys should consider doing album reactions. These will not only attract a wider audience pool, just because you guys cover multiple songs in one sitting and you're committing to a more in-depth coverage of the artist as well as a product that people may want to purchase (or feel they should listen to) for themselves. But also, this will free you guys up to really listen to music you've enjoyed coming across on this channel. You should still listen to some singleton tracks off an album though. Usually you can listen to the "hit" tracks as stand alones and then take them into context with the album's grander narrative. examples of albums you can cover are My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy-widely considered one of Kanye West's best works, if not the best work by some people. To Pimp A ButterFly-an acclaimed album by Kendrick Lamar that won him 11 grammies. 2014 Forest Hill Drive-the turning point of J. Cole rap career that pushed him from being considered good to great. Each of these albums have standout tracks that would really fit a singleton react video, but these albums are-as the saying goes "greater than the sum of their parts." And I hope you'll have the chance to enjoy them as much as I have.

It’s interesting because J. Cole is the artist that got me into hip-hop/rap. Before him I was exclusively listening to Rock and Alternative Rock music. I was honestly snobby about it too lol but his music changed my perspective of the Hip-hop genre and allowed me to broaden my taste in music. I’ve been a J. Cole fan since 2009 and although his current music sounds different then his older music project (such as the mixtapes The Come Up, The Warm Up, Truly Yours, Friday Night Lights) it still has the basic elements of Hip-hop that made it so appealing to the masses. J. Cole is definitely a great segue into hip-hop for most people with intelligence. I love that you guys understood that this was satirical, also. Just to mention 1985 is not a diss track to Lil Pump, but to the mumble rap wave performers.
