ppl will flame on it even more if he made a track like this...although it is a "j cole way of response". The response wouldn't really sound like a response, and even if it was taken that way, it would sound as though he doesn't really think Kendrick is anything of a competition even though its the big 3 thing. in end of the day, Cole shouldve just not responded OR just rap rap just straight try and bar for bar take out Kendrick with emcee skill. I mean if there is nothing to ctritic without making it personal or knowing its complete cap bs, might as well showcase your lyrical skill alone in the diss. Def nothing like Nas and Jay since they were also actually dissing each other

People idolise rappers, their music becomes a big part of life, and they almost become an extension of yourself because you can relate to it. nothing wrong with showing off success after going through rough times making it big. Sometimes people just want bangers to bump too with simple lines that have a lot of substance. Sometimes people want no substance at all and just want to bump to nonsense. Kinda dumb you would inconvenient yourself to take a bus when you have the funds not to. Thats not real, that's an image youre trying to go for. Rap is evolving and if you think new rap doesnt have substance then youre mistaking.

Free thinking is not voicing thoughts on serious topics based on no info other then you want to say the opposite of what people think you would say. Jcole’s emotional intelligence is so far beyond these other rappers’. He’s apologised because there’s no benefit in dissing, he’s true to himself and that’s what’s rare in so many of these celebrities and people generally. What other rappers say about Cole or anyone else is irrelevant and doesn’t change his talent or the work he has put out.
@YoRedForeman7 ай бұрын
True. Be true to yourself. But don't claim to be one of the best and hope others to believe it. He took himself outta the competition. You think Kobe gonna apologize to KG? Jordan to Barkley?
