@Chocolate8605 I wasnt talkin about J Cole, I was talkin bout the radio host that looks like Ja Rule, in the maroon jacket...

J.Cole understands and respects the Hip Hop culture far too much to ever let his music change. That's what separates him from most of the other new artists comin' out. He's tryna make a legacy not just a hit single to get paid off of. I respect his movement and I know his debut album will be a Hip Hop classic.

@Igetsitin89 - I personally think Jay Electronica is more like Nas than J.Cole. I think J.Cole is unique in the sense that I really can't compare him to anybody. Just his whole style has never been done before kinda similar to how Kanye came into the game with "College Dropout". It was a breath of fresh air bc it had never been done before. I think J.Cole is about to embark on a similar path and when it's all said and done, his legacy will be up there with Nas, Pac, Biggie, Jay, all the greats.

I'd rather be signed by Jay Z Then Little Wayne. It would feel good startin off next to the most powerful Rap Artist, Slash Producer, slash entrepreneur, slash slash slash out right now. Id feel up more on the leader boards if i had Jay Z Behind me.

@tantrumzthedon But even though that is true, 1,000,000,000 People are putting videos on the internet and trying to get a name for themselves. Even though Jay-Z Is not a good artist, he has good credentials. If someone says theres a new Artist Promoted By Jay-z, Youre gonna give him the time of day.
@StatCitez13 жыл бұрын
@tantrumzthedon True, but as an artist you dont focus on the person, you focus on what they could do for you. So i say this nigga could be the fuckin devil, and id still sign to him. J.Cole's gonna use Jay-z's credentials and blow up with it. Once he gets ground to stand on, he's gonna go Solo. Its what every great rapper does.
@kngjames8314 жыл бұрын
@WeezyDrakeYoungMoney - That's your opinion dude! Jay out rhymed Biggie on "We Love The Dough" and "Brooklyn's Finest" so based off those two songs it's debatable that Jay is better than Biggie. And Pac was deep, but he was far less skilled lyrically than Biggie, Em, Nas, Rakim, and Jay. So it's debatable dude. You can't make such a strong statement based off your opinion. Everybody's top 5 is different.
