I loved this moment in hiphop. This is the kind of thing that could have turned into diss tracks, but these two obviously have plenty of respect for each other. I love the original track, but having Nas come in with his verse was the cherry on top. I liked that Nas dropped the names of his mentors on the chorus, illustrating that cycle of inspiration.

I enjoy the historical delve you take in all your videos and I got a song that is right up your alley. “No Love Lost” It was first released in 1996 on Shaquille O’Neal’s album, but Nas verse was cut from it. Shaq re-released it a few days ago with the Nas verse back in it. I’m not sure why it was cut but it is definitely an amazing song featuring both JayZ and Nas before their beef.
