This song was amazing because Cole was able to be vulnerable. Ik people were dragging him on twitter but I think they either didn't listen to the song or understand the message.

Yea people are obsessed with the "tone" line, and there not listening the the compliments he gave her. Said she's smarter than him in the opening lines.

eon001 the crazy thing this that line was so simple , it’s something about the Queen aka “no name” tone, but they reaching to far for that line.
@spensenobles4 жыл бұрын
For the life of me, I don't understand the hate that came to him over this song. He said her tone rubbed him the wrong way, then went on to explain that he's in his own head and doesn't feel like he's doing enough, while praising her intellect and asking her for guidance on what he can do more for the cause.

@@theavatar9191 Yeah, I get it. I just don't think he needs it. Rahim was the craziest lyricist to ever grace the microphone 🎤 . He always kept it clean and kept it hip hop. I think Cole has that type of talent and that type of mind. He could separate himself from current genre by spitting quality lyrical content without the profanity. Just a selfish wish on my part as a true fan of the art form.
