The Brilliant Idiots is a comedy podcast from the Loud Speakers Network featuring Charlamagne tha God, host of Power 105.1’s radio show, The Breakfast Club and a New York Times bestseller author with “Black Privilege”, “Shook One” and now “Get Honest or Die Lying”. Charlamagne tha God is a recurring host on “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central.
Andrew Schulz is a world touring stand up comedian known for his comedy specials “Infamous”, “Schulz Saves America”, “Views from the Cis” & “4:4:1” as well as appearing in films “You People”, “White Men Can’t Jump”, “The Underdogs” and “Upgraded”.
The Brilliant Idiots is a podcast just as unpredictable as its hosts. From music, comedy, relationships, to pop culture, politics and current events, everything is on the table for analysis. But take what you hear with a grain of salt, because while their perspectives are often brilliant, they're liable to be idiotic too.

From Cole's lyrics, to production, his label, and features, he is a beast. Put some Respect on J.cole. He didn't even have a logical explination of why J.cole is not top 3. J.cole has been smoking every feature his whole career. He's litterally out rapping everybody he gets on a track with. How is that point just skipped over. My mans went gold on like 3 albums of just him rapping over his own production. Drake can't do that. He needs features and gohstwriters, and production done for him. The Drizzy Glazzing is disturbing. Especially at this point.

@@LUIZ_FUEGO I'd give lyricism and storytelling to Kendrick. The guy packs entendres like they're lunch and doesn't spare his work from stylistic devices if we're to get technical. Listening to his albums in order of release this year changed my mind. All of his albums are connected. They're sort of like a journal documenting his life from the beginning of his career to where he is currently at Mr. Morale. It seems he's working on another album and I'm eager to learn where he is in his life at the moment. TPAB and DAMN are my favorites from him. Cole comes second. He's good no doubt but not as good in my opinion. He can best Kendrick when it comes to wordplay, though. I've never viewed Drake as a rapper, though, and he's not in my top 10, especially now that I've come to learn about the ghostwriting and sampling songs without permission or giving credit. Whenever I'm listening to any of his 'rap' music now I just find myself asking, "Did he write this though?" Also if I may ask, why is Eminem never mentioned in the big 3 conversation? In my judgement, I'd say he's the greatest and best rapper alive. Is it a 'the culture' thing or is it just racial discrimination? Just curious

In my opinion Drake was never part of the conversation... It's always been Kendrick or Cole. Only girls and celebrities listen to Drake. Dudes bars are mid, delivery/cadence is always the same, his voice is annoying and nasally, the beats be 🔥. But that's about it.

Andrew’s confidence in his ignorance is astounding 😂. Up until the beef hype Cole was number 1 out of the big 3 . & had he fully committed or fully disregarded the back & fourth he would’ve remained there . hes still the best rapper out of the 3 but it’s just hard to put him at #1 after that . & big Sean was definitely mentioned with those 3 . His inconsistency & lack of label support made it hard to catch up

Schulz is right. Ya'lll forget he's from NY. If we line up bar for bar no hits. It's Jay Electronica as the winner. MF Doom as the second #1 And it's KRS-one as the Goat of Goats. But I know we don't do it like that, we get emotional about it. If we're talking about no holds barred. rap all of your raps until you have no more raps. and the quality won't drop.
