1) We can store vegetables without refrigerator. For that just put vegetables in wet gunny sack.
2)To perform the float test, gently set your egg into a bowl or bucket of water. If the egg sinks, it is fresh. If it tilts upwards or even floats, it is old
3)Make curd(dahi) in clay utensil.So that it absorbs water n you will get thick curd with incomparable taste.
4) We can store salt in clay utensil like this done by our elders.
5) Before cutting juicy fruits like lemon or oranges put them on your counter and roll them back and forth, applying heavy pressure with the heel of your hand. This will help break down them and make them easier to juice!
6)Small cuts of potato or bringals get dark faster, so are best kept in cold water for a short time, like while you prepare other ingredients.
7) Do use iron kadhai for cooking so that iron gets released into food and enters into body.Iron is very important especially for women.
8)Bake newly buyed rava/ sooji for 2_3 minutes like this to avoid it from getting insects.
9)To avoid overflowing of dal from cooker add a spoon of oil over it.
10)just add a few squeezes of lemon juice to the cooking water to make it clumpless.
