Took this shoe to another level with all the details. Added Spade soles, fiddle waist, JR soles, blind stitched, LuLu tips, custom made heels and added some more details to the heels.

Seriously….this man has hundreds of feet of 50-11 different welts in that shop and being the craftsman and artist that he is, what does he do? He has a style design he’s going for so he literally makes his own! Talk about raising the bar?! Shit at this point, Steve you ARE the bar! Another amazing job as usual!

J.fitzpatrick shoes are just amazing. These shoes are truly a work of art and and made with the best techniques out there. They are much better in construction, longevity and materials than shoes like Alden, Crocket and Jones and Allen Edmunds. Ofcourse style is a matter of personal taste, which in my opinion they also are miles ahead of companies in this price point.

You could start a new series "pimp my shoe" yet another amazing job on a good looking pair of shoes, a quick question, have you always got up for work at the crack of fart in the morning or have things just ended up like this over the years and how do you deal with this if you ever take a holiday? My dad was an early riser and even on his days off he was up rattling pots in the kitchen whistling along to whatever he had on the radio telling the toaster to bloody hurry up or just generally being a pain in the arse at 5 am on a Sunday after I got in the house at about half 3 if I was unlucky in love from a night in the clubs. Take care stay safe and best wishes from Scotland.

Haven't watched for a couple of weeks so I've only just seen this one. That notch in the heel is called a gentleman's notch or gentleman's corner and is designed to stop the hem, cuffs or turn up's on your trousers from catching on the heel of the shoe. Really impressed by the initial quality of the shoe, never seen a J. Fitzpatrick deconstructed before.
@BedosLeatherworksLLC2 жыл бұрын
Actually what you describing is done on the corner of the heel not at the top of the heel, that is called “heel step off” or “heel notch”
