For your question at 12:40, yes Hangsang features Supreme Boi, his part is where jhope let’s the audience sing. Also fun fact, Hangsang means always. So when he sings “hangsang with my dawg” he means always with my boys or the BTS members. The songs is about that the success that they worked hard for and received as a team. If you see him looking up to the side at 9:57, he is looking at Jimin, one of the BTS members who came to support him 😊

12:35 He literally called out "Supreme Boy's Verse" so allowed tape of Supreme Boy to run while adlibbing throughout. J Hope usually calls out artists he collaborated with or sampled. Supreme Boy is a Big Hit producer and fellow rapper who almost became part of BTS but decided to produce instead.

No It's not the ghost band. It's a new band. They are really good. They were with BTS for the BUSAN concert too. 12:40 - He said "Supreme Boi's verse" before he let it play out. This was written and produced by him and Supreme Boi, one of their in-house producers. Supreme Boi used to be a BTS trainee and decided to produce instead once the project changed from a Hip Hop/Rap group, to a Hip Hop IDOL group. He's letting ARMY's sing the chorus too. Hangsang is an ARMY favorite and they sing all of the lyrics anyway. Also, In the V-Live he did with ARMY's after the concert back in the hotel, he said that the monitors actually were a distraction and he wished they weren't there. He practiced this performance from beginning to end, 8 hours a day, for three weeks before going to chicago, and he actually practiced 4-5 days with the band. He had just met them. I think they were so impressed with them, that they used them for the BUSAN concert. But I don't know that for sure. There is a behind the scenes of J-hope practicing at the HYBE building and in Chicago with the band. He also just performed 3 of his songs from his album at the 2022 MAMA Award show. He was by himself at the show, and he picked up all the awards that BTS won, because they are all doing solo projects right now. As a matter of fact, RM is releasing his album at 9pm PST tonight, 12am EST and 2pm KST 12/2/2022, So whatever your timezone is. I'm in California, so it's at 9pm tonight. INDIGO is the name of it, and there are so many collaborations he is doing two of them that you might know are #1 Anderson Paak, - Song is 'Still Life', and #2 Erikah Badu - Song is 'YUN' I'll link RM's IG Acct if you are interested. He has pictures, his track list and other promotions, like a teaser for his Title Track being released with the album, called 'Wildflower' featuring Youjeen (Korean Artist) instagram.com/rkive/

From "Get to know BTS' j-hope's live band from HOBIPALOOZA": Bringing the BTS member's vision of HOBIPALOOZA ablaze (quite literally) are none other than the talented music director and bassist Asaf Rodeh, assisted by Jonathan Linav, who were joined by Clemons Poindexter IV on drums, Carrice Whitley on keys, and Jackson Shepard on guitars. The article goes into detail about each band member. Asaf Rodeh also led the band in BTS's Busan concert in October (an incredible concert, btw), but with different musicians.

If you like watching live rap performances, BTS have some iconic ones. "Outro: Tear" at the Wembley stadium, with the black Dior outfits, is a favorite. The stage compilation of "Born Singer". These two are deeply emotional songs. "Ugh" and "Cypher 3" from the Busan concert. The Cypher medley in the white outfits. These performances are very hype. "Ddaeng" is a fun one. And what's really fun is when the whole group, including the vocal line, perform the rappers' songs. "Daechwita", "Chicken Noodle Soup", "Ddaeng".

I never really listened much to Hangsang before - just not my style, but absolutely fell in love with it after this performance. Hobi is a performance monster! This isn’t Ghost band (which is not the same as the other Ghost). This band killed it, and were perfect for Hobi’s eclectic style.

BTS have always screens with lyrics at their concerts. Just like you said, I doubt they actually look at it a lot but I think it is a really great tool artist use. Especially since BTS are seven people, who all participate in the songs equally and have amazing hand-offs in their songs. Their concerts are usually over 2 hours long and on top of that they have to remember choreography. I know artist get a lot of info through their in-ears but I can only assume that it would drive them insane, if they got cues constantly rattling in their ears.
@butterbuttersbetter3689 Жыл бұрын
Here’s a suggestion for another reaction by the whole group. Most of the performances you’ve watched have been quite structured, as ARMY have suggested ones where you can focus on vocal performance, but this is a medley from one of their concerts and you really get to see how incredible (and fun!!!) their stage presence is outside of full choreo or static vocally focussed stages. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3a9gWt_Zd6Db5I

the feature is a former bts member (supreme boi) (well he was never a part of bts but was part of the original line up that was supposed to debut with them in 2013 but he left just before that and became an in house producer for them instead, probably because the chances of bts succeeding at that time were honestly VERY LOW given the context of how poor their company is and how rare groups like them in kpop don't disband after less than 100 DAYS. Its a miracle that they not only survived but became the biggest korean act in history and one of the biggest current artists in the world. I always wonder if he kinda regrets leaving. There's like old pics of them from 2012 where they are 8 instead of 7.

Also I recommend watching Tiny Desk Home Concert by RM. (He performs three songs; Seoul (from mixtape Mono), Yun (from NEW album Indigo, and Still Life (From NEW album Indigo) Still Life has Anderson Park as a ft. Everyone else in the comments answered your question so I won’t say anything else P.S. It's not ghost band. But you can go to KhaN drummer's YT channel where he posted "drum cams" made when ghost band was touring with BTS. The same music director here and I think the bassist or guitarist played the recent Busan concert- the arrangements have the same edgy R&B/funk/rock sound. BTW, ghost band's DOCSKIM (keyboardist/producer) produced a track on RM's new album, Indigo. Oh dear, please don't call them Army balls 🤣 They are Army bombs, unless you are at the airport, where TSA would prefer that you call them light sticks. Believe it or not, the TSA tweeted a nomenclature reminder to us several times.

just a suggestion: using auto-generated captions is really pointless for non-English videos, it's better ro turn them off (if actual human translated captions are not provided). for auto-generated captions youtube just puts random, similarly sounding words together and calls it a day, most of the time completely changing the meaning. which might lead to confusion, best case scenario.
@OT7_DopeOldARMY Жыл бұрын
Even worse than that is when it tries to make Korean words into English words without translation and just by the sounds (so “Hangsang” might be “hands down” or “hands sang” in the subtitles. Definitely better to turn them off if English isn’t offered specifically as a language when you turn on captions using the settings wheel rather than the “CC” button.
