yeah, he's trash, and homophobic too, he even posted a homophobic tweet once, and bts_twt and hitmanb both replyed joking, hitmanb asking if namjoon was gay, playing around, but armys criticised supreme boi (the tweet was something like "the song is great but i don't agree with homossexuality, i don't like it, not judging if you do, though"), so he deleted it, but bts' and hitmanb's tweets are still there if you search. @lunarialoonatic I could be wrong but I do think he's actually said he is into men and women, just in very subtle ways. There was an interview where someone asks his type in girls, and he essentially says "I'm attracted to personality, and it's not limited to girls" as his response. The "guy or girl" line also does kind of imply attraction to both since the whole scheme of that rap is sexual double-entendres? And like... saying "my tongue will make you come" immediately after a line talking about turning on both men and women is VERY on-the-nose. While I don't think we should label him, he HAS made a few statements on (at the very least) being attracted to both genders, and it's kind of silly to just ignore lol

So the reference to who J-hope was talking about, rappers trying to rap in english has to be a reference to a korean rapper named B-Free. B-free is a korean underground rapper who was born and raised in Hawaii, so he does tend to use a lot of english in his raps. Suga and RM were established underground rappers, they've both taken part in a number of underground rap competitions. From the age of 12 RM was already well known in those circles, which is just crazy. Originally bts was supposed to be a hip hop rap group like 1TYM. When the decision was made to make them an idol group instead and after they debuted as such, a lot of their old circle couldn't handle it. One of those people was B-free, who insulted rm and suga to their faces on a show and called them girls who wear make up, and said he found it personally disgusting. He said that bts betrayed hip hop and sold out for money, made fun of their stage names, bighit's ceo pd bang, and just would not stop. The ARMY that were there filmed the interaction. Because RM and Suga don't have such rudeness in them, and because they were the youngest people in the room (there is a common hierarchy of respect in korea that is largely built on age), they sat there and took it while this grown ass "underground rapper" condescended and talked down to them, b-free who was literally 10+ years older than them (30). RM and suga were polite and took it well, just very calmly trying to explain their thoughts. But the incident greatly upset ARMY, and so they decided to put all the things they wanted to say in their music. And they all just went savage on this dude on the beat, which is what you see here with even j-hope like "get your dusty english rapping out my face." But of the 3, the one person who has never taken his foot of b-free's neck is Suga. Suga even saying "why don't you go back to hawaii" and "just like your parents my heart hurts looking at you." as well as a multitude of other things. I believe the entire agust d track is about him and these conceited underground rappers with him saying "y'all need to thank me that i decided to become an idol." And of course, B-free's career has never recovered. It's been in free fall ever since. To this day his shit gets a ton of dislikes even though he has apologized publicly twice. He is a pariah even in underground circles. And in the ultimate karma of writing checks your ass can't cash, homeboy got arrested and jailed the day Suga's Dwaechita came out which is just... chef's kiss.

While on stage he pulls out a watch that is on his wrist and literally times himself on how long he takes to say the verse but also shows how long he is able to rap without a single breath in between. BTS was invited by Seo Taiji and Boys to join them on stage for their 25th anniversary and sing the song "Come Back Home". They were also asked/allowed by Taiji to record their own version. It has a West Coast vibe to the beat and I think it gets overlooked. It is 100% worth checking out. :) The original was released in 1995 and the BTS version was 2017. Supreme Boi is an in-house producer from BigHit (BTS' label/company) and was ALMOST a member of BTS. All four of the cyphers were aimed at their haters, mainly from the Korean underground HipHop scene that said they were sell-outs and not "real rappers" for being "idols".

I truly think you’d benefit from looking at the proper lyrics on doolset or similar that explains them better just to aid your reactions. It’s just that I’d hate for you to miss out on the genius of some of these lyrics because honestly, these translations are really not good. I hope that’s okay to suggest. It is, however, common that night club barkers (even if they are males) call female customers unnies. The use of unnie thus makes sense here. 삐삐 (bbibbi) is a pager/beeper, so it could be (1) “all the girls, call me, page me.” Or, since bbi- is commonly used as an onomatopoeia of censoring sounds, it could also be (2) “all the girls call me ‘XX’,” where XX is some unknown word There’s loads more but just wanted to show there’s so much more to their songs 💜💜

As for now you've mostly seen the rap line but man, once you get into the whole thing...The combination of rap, with vocals and dance. Plus great performances and incredible talent. Sewer vs savory is a KR wordplay, if you see the romanization: neon hasugu --> play the beat backwards --> nan gusuha(ji) where the first one means "you sewer" and the second one is "I savory" (tasty?) ;)

Supreme Boi is a producer and rapper under Big Hit (now HYBE) with BTS. He was actually supposed to debut in the original BTS group when they were supposed to debut as a Hip-hop group but chose not to when they were decided to debut as Kpop idols instead. He works a lot with the boys especially the rapine (RM, Suga, J-Hope)!

A little back story in case you're curious, RM and SUGA were already in the rap game before they became idols, both of them were underground rappers. RM was under 15 I think and had all the adults scared of him🤣🤣🤣 SUGA was originally interested in becoming a producer instead but ended up becoming a member of BTS. Jhope, however, was not a rapper before joining, he was an underground dancer, he learned rap after joining BTS.
