J-hope’s body runs on music and beats. That’s why he’s always ready on the 1. If you watch him in interviews, Run BTS episodes, etc, if he hears music he starts moving. He can’t help it. Rhythm is part of his DNA. He is the reason I started down the rabbit hole. I could watch that guy dance all day.

Lollapalooza really is iconic. I remember on top of the 100,000 people that were there in person, another ~50 million were watching the free livestream version (including me!) - unbelievable numbers. He did so well, you’ll see just how hard he worked for this in the behind the scenes video, I’m really proud of him for putting his all into this performance. Congrats on the london gig!

Yes, they use translator for deaf people. I saw that at Yoongi's concert for the first time.. It was a lady at Yoongi's concert. She stands in front of deaf people.. Close to the stage

I am not Deaf, but I work for an organization that does events, and we definitely reserve seating for the Deaf, that includes music. Deaf people can feel the beat and vibrations of the music, so they do enjoy music, just in a different way from us hearing people. We usually have an option people can check on the registration form to request ASL interpretation. That's how we know how many seats to expect to save.

Jimin is up on one side watching, singing and dancing encouraging J Hope. There are time's when you can see J Hope look at at him. Jimin flew out because J Hope wasn't eating or sleeping properly because he was worrying so much about his first solo concert without rest of BTS.

The behind the scenes for this show is crazy and makes this show just a marvel to see because jhope literally wasn't able to eat during the rehearsal days and was so anxiety driven and looked miserable until jimin arrived on scene... he killed it at the end like a real professional. If you think about the fact that this man has never done a show like this before without 6 people sharing the burden of standing on a stage in front of some 80000 plus people. It's like an entire movie.

Now that you've seen Hobipalooza, it's only fair if you watch Yoongi's concert next! Haha... There''s no official video for the concert like this one for Hobipalooza, but "Enjoy BTS More" is putting out a video for each song from the concert, combining multiple fancams into great videos. They've now put out 13 songs out of the 19 songs from the setlist (well, 14 out of 20 if you count the surprise song from Day 3 LA concert). I think by the time you've reacted to all the studio versions of the songs in the setlist, they'll have completed the entire setlist. Yoongi and Hobi have very different styles, both in personality/communication and music, but both command the stage masterfully. It's so fascinating.

My favourite part of part 2 is when Hobi sings “Safety Zone” & at the end when he sings the line “where’s my safe zone, tell me if you know” he points off to the left hand side of the stage where Jimin is actually been standing and watching his whole performance, and then you hear the ARMYs sing out “It’s right here” it always gives me goosebumps everytime.

RE: Synchronisation, as Dance Leader, Baby has had to keep SEVEN HUMANS of varying skill levels in his precise orbit for a Decade. His ability to Hit the One is Child's Play, comparatively. Aside from Sienna, my favorite dancers are the Green Handkerchief Top, Yellow Pants, and the Tall Brother with the 12 Pack Abs. Speaking of, Becky has really improved on Choreo over the last 3 years! She played a trick on ARMY and had her Sister send a shot from her social media account watching Hobipalooza from a living room moments before appearing on stage.

This is the first time J-Hope did a solo concert and he nailed it. He is a dancer and is so expressive on stage. The setlist, the band, and the pacing was seamless. Please react to Suga/Agust D solo concerts next. Recommend LA Day 2, Oakland Day 1, Newark or Chicago. He was not feeling well for the concerts in New York but still brought down the house. Lol, it is almost unfair that there is so much talent in one group.

Probably at the top of my list of best performances ever!!! Hobi was a master on that stage, just like you said. His stage presence, crowd control, essence, energy, etc...., and just so much more...!! I feel like this entire performance just added so much more meaning and complete truth to his title 👑King of Performance👑 I absolutely love a lot of what all the members are doing with their solo works, but in all honesty, this set by Hobi at Lollapalooza is still at the very top for me! Don't think anything has topped this performance, not from any artist, since the very day I saw this!!! This was history in the making, and the records he set, qnd broke... and the freakin Mayor of Chicago came out to introduce him, lol, it was astounding. And I am just so proud of him. It is mind blowing. This is a big chunk of the performance too! It’s like Hobi & Army’s brains are so in sync! This is harder to replicate in this huge global scale...coz for sure, Army’s across the globe were vibing the same way online. I love that you did this. Performance is J-hope's bread and butter. You come to a bts show, the legend is you leave Hope-biased. And Hobi has said before he always has the live in mind when he makes a song (it seems to me that some songs are made specifically for the stage too, but you already noticed that in the few previous reactions). Yes, there were kids that came out during Chicken Noodle Soup. I like that his dancers are always a mix of genders, ages and races. He promotes inclusion in every way in his music/ performances. He walks the talk as it were. I’m just always incredibly impressed with his stamina and ability to work the crowd in a way that feels so effortless. The dance crew who helped here are from The Lab, which is based in LA. They have dance training from young ages. And yeah, 4 if the dancers here are children, it was because there were children dancing in the CNS music video, also from The Lab. Sienna Lalau, the long blonde haired dancer, choreographed several BTS dances, she was 19 when she did "ON".

I really really cannot wait til you get to the bts stuff. There is A LOT so I hope you don't feel too overwhelmed but honestly, it'll pass by super quickly once you get into it, just take it little by little, era by era. I think it's really important to go through all the albums chronologically bc they kind of build on each other, especially in terms of eras, themes, storylines (the bts universe is it's own rabbit hole), call-backs, references, ect. And I think you will find it especially humorous to see them at the very beginning bc, even though I personally look back on their past eras with nostalgia and fondness, I also acknowledge that some of the themes were a little cringe in the most positive way possible. The music was banger tho.

Once Yoongi’s concert is available, whether its through what “Enjoy BTS More” is putting together, or when the livestream/official recording comes out, I hope you’ll check it out! Hobi and Yoongi are both fantastic performers/entertainers, but in such different ways and it’d be interesting to hear what you’d think of his performance. Your commentary is always fascinating to listen to and you bring such interesting and unique perspectives to the content. I’ve also learned so much about the music industry from your stories and I’m looking forward to hearing more!

FYI Jurnalist - The dance troupe behind Hobi is run by Serena (Tall Blonde dancing nearby to Hobi) and they have worked with BTS on several performances including Chicken Noodle Soup MV, PTD LA concerts (funny thing is Serena fell over during a set & Tae & Jin were imitating for the rest of the concerts), they are the dance troupe in ON: Kinetic Manifesto MV as well as the live performance at Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show, they have recently worked with Jimin’s as backup dancers in the Set It Free Part 2 MV & Live dance performances in America as they are based in LA.

There was this show called street dance of China where they get street dancers from China (whackers, crumpers, breakers, lockers, etc) which had some of the most amazing and talented dancers I've ever seen. And there is a junior version of the same show and once or twice they had some of the little kid dancers come do a performance for the adult competitors and holy shit. Some of these kids (ranging from 6 to 12) were better than some of the bottom tier dancers from the top 100 of this show. Granted it was one or two performances that would have been rehearsed but damn, these kids are skill AF.

The Yoongi Concert at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL pointed attendees to Ticketmaster to find tickets for those needing accommodations. First come, first serve. My companion was a 16yr old with some physical limitations, so her parents got us a Handicapped Parking Placard and we were able to walk right in, avoiding the line but were much too late to get the Special Seating and she couldn't see the stage 90% of the time 🤷🏾‍♀️ Luckily Yoongi had the enormous screen behind and two smaller beside with no visual effects.

So I'll add a movie you can watch on your own time that might give a bit of insight on how deaf people can enjoy music concerts: Mr. Hollands Opus. You'll have to watch a bit of the movie before it gets to the relevent part, but it's really interesting if you think of it on a large concert scale.

Dynamite was a song bought by Big Hit/Hybe from an American Songwriter/Producer for BTS apparently there was a lot of competition for the song I’m not sure why 🤷‍♀️, it is my least favourite song of theirs with Butter & PTD (wrote by Ed Sheeran) Coming in close second as not a fan of their English only songs considering I am a native English speaker (Well Australian English lol) I prefer the Korean & Japanese songs since I speak 5 languages.

I can tell you right now that those ppl in front of the sign language lady weren’t priority seating. Maybe the people standing there were nice enough to let hard of hearing ppl stand there but who knows. Ppl were very very serious about their spots near the front there
