I think the child could represent both ARMY and his younger self! All the work he’s done to be inspired by & dancing to Jermaine’s music growing up and shaping his rap style, to now collaborating and dancing WITH Jermaine on THEIR shared music, was a culmination for his younger self’s dreams. Truly a full-circle moment. BUT as you said, it’s also as a reminder to ARMY that his energy is with us everywhere. 💜

Such an awesome collab! Very proud of J Hope. When I watched it again, I realized the kid at the beginning is wearing the same type of outfit as Cole at the end. Perhaps it symbolizes J Hope's youth and love of hip hop and the "as always, for us" means for himself and his inner child that still has that love of hip hop? That's my take on it.
