I am sure he will come in and be a decent game manager (which is a great quality to have), but for me (and hopefully the Pats) I'd rather take a swing at the potential high ceiling of Drake Maye (I know he needs some coaching to get NFL ready) that kids arm is a freaking rocket, I can see him stepping in and being the franchise star the Pats need.
