J&K polls: Former Jamaat-e-Islami member Talat Majeed explains why he decided to contest elections

A few former members of the banned outfit Jamaat-e-Islami filed their nomination papers from various constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir to contest in the upcoming assembly polls. One of them, Dr Talat Majeed, who is contesting as an Independent from the Pulwama constituency, explains his reasons for joining electoral politics
