Jesus loves you. If you repent of your sins and give your life to Him: He will fill you with love, give you happiness in your life, and bless you. The next time that you feel sick or worried or scared, ask Jesus into your heart and your life will get better. Videos will never fill the void inside of you, but Jesus will if you give your life to Him. He will love you, keep you company, and answer your questions. He is real and a lot of the time He will speak to you through your conscience. God is love and everything good comes from Him. Everything good in the world comes from love. Romantic love, familial love, friendship, the love you feel for your hobbies, the love you have for your favorite music, favorite food, favorite movie, etc. All of it comes from God. Without love there is no point to life. It is what we all live for and it is what we were all made for, but the devil tries to ruin everything with fear, stress, worry, etc. Try to get to know God. He is truly worth worshipping.

J.K Rowling invented the synonym "Muggle" rather than using the original term of "Mortal"-as used in Bewitched-to stop her readers from knowing that she got ideas from Bewitched-she wanted her readers to think that she came up with every idea in her books completely on her own, rather than admitting that she was inspired by great works, such as Bewitched-that is where she made her mistake!

Link I love Harry Potter and have a lot of nostalgia for it but pretty much nothing about the world makes sense once you actually put some thought into it. From economics, over politics all the way to the educational system and the magic itself. It works well enough to suspend your disbelief and relish in the whimsical nature of it all, especially at a young age but it's far from deep or complex.

Link I agree. The world worked well for the story and you never think about these things when reading the books. What bothers me is when Rowling claims to have "every little detail" figured out and acts as though she created this incredibly rich and thought out lore when that's clearly not the case. It's quite evident in the books that she made up a lot of the specifics of the world as she went along, regardless if they made sense or worked within the established canon, with certain aspects only being introduced when they became relevant to the story.

@@naisho0_ Hahaha Read anything from King Arthur to Macbeth to Through the Looking Glass to The Colour of Magic. 'World Building' is a very contemporary term. Most fantasy in English is inconsistent and doesn't make any sense. I think the South Americans have a genre called 'Magical Realism' which strives to bridge the gap and make magic believable. The US Americans have always tried to make fantasy where the world is structured in a coherent if not believable way. From Wizard of Oz to Dune to Star Wars. The English, like it's nonsensical political structure, prefer worlds that don't make any sense.
