J. Krishnamurti - Washington DC 1985 - Public Talk 2 - At the end of sorrow is passion
Summary:
What is order and what is disorder, and what is their relationship to action? Can disorder end in our daily life?
Concerned as we are with our own suffering, how can there be love? Is sorrow brought about by self-pity?
What happens after death? Does one carry the memories of one's own life? If we don't cling to a thing, then what is death? Not at the end of life, but with all my energy, vitality, can I live with death all the time?
If there is real order in one's life, what then is meditation? Following a system, practising day after day, what happens to the human brain? Is there a meditation which is not determined?
Through one's own understanding of oneself there is that which is eternal.

This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

He was 89 years old when he gave this talk. But look at the clarity of his mind! I wish more people had listened to this wise man and brought inward psychological revolution.

He was way beyond wise. He never prepared for any lectures, the wisdom was there because he was changed man. We all have responsibility to change ourselves fundamentally so that we change the world.

I was there, on row one. you can almost see us just at the beginning. our younger selves. you can listen to his words but the energy (prana/chi) coming off of him was mind-boggling. to hear his words without the energy is like watching a movie without the musical soundtrack. like seeing the Buddha.

One of the Coolest people who ever existed. Jesus Christ #1 Jiddu Krishnamurti#2 Marcus Arelius#3 . Some in my family dont like him( his ways) bec they start to see that everything around them is a fraud including themselves .Remember its Observation not Analysis = Paralysis, the key is Joy not Pleasure not wanting to repeat a certain experience once its done its done thats the bottom line(+)

I have been involved with the teachings of this man for some 45 years. I have put some of his work in my book. I have showed videos of his talks going back decades and one talk really hit me most directly. It was a talk (I believe in the oak grove) where he said that thought had created many things and that thought had created God. He said, "I know you're not going to like it but there it is". There was a great deal of restlessness in the crowd at this point and one gentleman got up and walked out of the talk and into the trees. I have tried for over a decade to find this talk but it seems it has been removed from the archives. I have contacted the foundation and the Krishnamurti Library but have still not been able to locate this talk. If anyone knows the specific talk and can locate it I would be most grateful and most appreciative.

Depending on the circumstances a listener is or has been in, the When (and the #of talks in the series) K's talks were delivered could hold importance. Never know. While it can be crucial, it should not be difficult to state them upfront so that they do not need to be searched for. If there is no trace of difficulty to incorporate, the participants' names too....

Jiddu was a good man , but good does not mean perfect , nobody is perfect all the time about goodness . All his life he was preaching pro unity by being impartial , LOVE . And look now at the present time , nothing has changed for te good cause , still many wars going on , and humanity worldwide is now under big stress , bad evolution going on now , alas . KZbin Deepak Chopra on humanity's insanity and the power of joy .

Unfortunately not much interest in teachings like these. There is no happy ending, nothing that will satisfy, no concept, idea, ideology, possession, power nor mate. The only hope(hope is useless too as it’s partner is fear) is to see the entire structure of thought from the outside then one can be free even from the concept “I am free”

in orthodocs christianity god is not a dead god in a book but alive speaks through the holy spirit continuously till now So is based on the Book/new testament +the tradition(church fathers books) +fullfills ppl In catholicism i think is the same except more contained by d pope/church In protenstantism is more rigid and one can see how these denominations have directl influenced their ppl And despite all them saying god is within ever present and all pervasive who taught ou TO LOOK INSIDE YOU
