車で来る方はご注意を！！北からも南からも道幅が狭く、すぐ横は崖になっており、軽自動車では対向車を避けつつでないとまず通れません。加えて観光シーズンでは登山客、サイクリングの方も多く高度なドライブテクニックが求められます。 しかしながら途中の景色は保津川の渓流を望むことが出来る最高のロケーションですので、自信のある方は軽自動車か、バイクでどうぞ。 個人的にはトロッコ保津峡、JR保津川駅からはマイクロバスが出ているのでそちらを使用されると良いと思います。そちらも素晴らしい景色が楽しめます。 愛宕山辺りはまだ外国人観光客も少なく、私も柚子の里は年に何回も訪れます。 柚子の里の上方の愛宕山は京都の料亭や商店の方々がよく火の用心のお札を買いに来るんですよ。 皆さんもぜひ落ち着いたらいらっしゃってくださいな。 追伸 素晴らしい映像ありがとうございました。 Annaさんには是非とも、善峯寺を探訪していただく思います。京都を一望できる風情ある山寺です。梅雨の時期は紫陽花が特に綺麗ですよ。 洛外には戦火で焼けることの無かった古い建物や仏像が残っているので、お勧めです。

柚子の里との事らしいですが残念な事に近年は生産者不足から出荷量も減ってるらしいですね。 しかしながら動画の中にも映っていた水尾の宿場では柚子湯や水炊きなどが堪能できるとか。 いつか機会があったらゆっくり湯治がてら訪れてみたい場所です^^ 今回も京都の魅力を発信して頂きありがとうございました。

いつも美しい映像をありがとうございます。水尾はいつか行ってみたいと思っていた場所で、自分が実際に散策しているかのようで楽しかったです。ちょっと残念なのはやはり柚の里なので鈴なりに実った柚子の木の画があればなあ、というところ。あと樒でも有名ですよね。愛宕神社でも水尾の樒を売ってましたし。そこのクローズアップもあれば。しかし是非見たかった清和天皇社を拝することができたのは嬉しかったです。清和天皇山陵や円覚寺も見たかったかな。無い物ねだりですみません。次作に期待しています。ありがとうございました。

Anna Film Production さん　いつも丁寧にご返信いただきありがとうございます。私は滋賀に住んでいたとき木地師の里として有名な小椋谷が大好きで何度か訪ねました。その地には惟喬親王が隠棲されたという伝承が残っているのですが、この惟喬親王が皇位につけないで隠棲に追い込まれたのが弟の清和天皇のためだったとか。清和さん自身のせいじゃなく、彼を担いだ藤原氏のせいなんですが。そんなことから清和天皇には関心があって少し調べて、清和さん自身も興味深い生涯だったことがわかって水尾にも行きたくなったのです。清和源氏の元祖なのにご自身はちっとも幸せじゃなくて、しかも子孫は全く清和さんを祀ることはせずにこの里人たちが千年以上も大切にお祀りし続けている、そのこころが美しくて思えるのです。柚の実る季節の次作に期待しています。

原チャでウロチョロするのが好きなので、年に1度ほど嵯峨～水尾～宕陰～神吉方面に抜けるドライブをしたりします。風情はいいのだけど、原チャですら停めるところもなかなかなく、いつも通過・・・それでも涼しくて風情の良いところが市内にもあるのはうれしいですね。途中六丁峠とか急勾配があるので、嵐山辺りに電動アシストのレンタサイクルがあれば快適にアクセスできると思います。

かなりの高所。急勾配の狭路。暮らしは厳しい場所かと思いますが、これだけの集落があるということは以前は栄えた場所だったのでしょう。立派な寺社仏閣もあり昔日は人々の集まりがあり、「ゆずの里」を誇りに思い仕事に励んでいたのでしょう。高齢の波、果樹農家の経営の難しさ…若い世代は離れて行かざるを得ない状況なのでしょう。私事ですが、都会育ちで田んぼを見た事も無かった状態で、田舎の稲刈りの手伝いを初めてしたときに余りにも役に立たなくて「そろそろお昼ご飯の準備してくれたらええよ。」とさり気なく言ってもらい内心「助かった！」と正直思った事があります。一朝一夕で出来る仕事ではないのです。 お一人男性の後ろ姿がありましたね。体を大切に過ごして頂きたいですね。

This video reminded me of how much I love all the trees in Japan. It seems that almost everyone has some sort of tree growing near there house, no matter how small a space they have to grow it.

穏やかな山村の風景には、心が休まります。人がいないのは、外国人旅行者が来なくなったからではなく、人がいなくなったからですよね。百年ののちには、この山村はどうなっているんでしょう。少子化が進めば、多くの文化・言語・郷土料理あるいは、祭祀と言ったものが消え去っていくんでしょう。長く続いてきたものが、暗闇の中に消えて行くのは、本当に恐ろしくて悲しいことです。この山村に多くの子供達の姿があれば、どんなに素晴らしい光景だっただろうと思いました。

The palm tree! What a weird placement! I had to look at that twice to see if that was a set mixed in with the actual natural imagery! Then when I looked the second time it looked like that property had a single palm on it!
