I don't think talk radio was ever the same when JP died. Rumor was he was about to take the show nationwide when he got sick. Such a loss, man!

I had also heard that J.P. was planning to retire in 2000. It would have been great to see him end his career on his own terms and enjoy retirement, but God had other plans and called him home. May he rest in peace!
