I commend you. I dropped out of school in the 9th grade and didn't return back to school until my late 40s. Like you I suffer from a learning disability . When I did return to school I was diagnosed with dyslexia and this took a weight off of my shoulders. Now I had a understanding of why I suffered academically. No longer was I stupid, dumb or just not trying hard enough, which many of the teachers insisted. I graduated from my community college and was accepted into the University of Santa Cruz where I earned my sociology degree in 2018 and now I'm currently working on my masters degree and will be graduating this November.
