Jürgen Klopp won 2 Bundesliga titles, one DFB Cup and a Champions League runner-up medal - all with Borussia Dortmund.He also had seven successful years in Mainz as a coach though, leading them to the top flight for the first time back in 2004. Nguyễn Thái Hoàng No he’s kind of right. Klopp did get them promoted for the first time, but after a couple of impressive survival seasons they unfortunately went down. He stayed one more year and couldn’t get them back up, before resigning. They got promoted the next season under his successor and have been there ever since. Klopp of course still deserves huge credit for laying the foundations

Tbh you tend to find the best leaders/ managers don’t shine in any one particular field but are able to bring up work ethic and boost morale of every player on the pitch by being outstanding utility men. That’s why for the most part star strikers or phenomenal finishers don’t always translate into the best managers later on because their concept of team play only comes from one perspective and see the game as far more individualistic rather than starting by building a strong foundation across the pitch and controlling tempo etc.

Can't believe how underrated set pieces have become with more emphasis on pressing and counter attacks. A ball in opposition territory and a well place cross make it a great chance to score. It's hard to believe that teams average about 6-7 opportunities to make it work and fail to score.
