Estoy totalmente cautivada por la impresionante expresividad. Texto y música son una unidad. Maravillosas las Arias tan contrastantes. Cada una aporta un elemento expresivo y entre todas el mensaje queda completo e integrado. Esta cantata es muy expresiva, un coro inicial potente y bello, unas arias bellísimas. No fue obra para un noble o rey sino para Dios... así lo demostró clarísimamente Bach con sus obras. Y justo el domingo pasado se celebró Pentecostés y esta canta cantante salió justo para esa fecha. Gracias suizos de JSBachstiftung!!! Saludos desde Lima

Falta ensayo entre los solistas instrumentales y vocales para las arias, se nota mucho la diferencia entre las partes que participa la orquesta y el coro, que consiguen un sonido global compacto y bonito de cuando intervienen sólo los solistas instrumentales y vocales que no suena tan compacto ni bonito

Ich werde auch so allmählich zum Fan der Aufführungen der Bach-Kantaten aus St. Gallen. Mit der Besetzung der Altpartien durch Countertenöre kann ich mitgehen. Ich höre aber genauso gerne auch ein Frauenstimme, die diese Altpartien singt. Überhaupt akzeptiere ich die unterschiedlichen Interpretationsansätze, ohne dafür auf wissenschaftliche Erklärungen zurückgreifen zu wollen. Am ehesten habe ich so meine Probleme damit, dass Knabensolisten die Sopran- oder Altpartien singen. Aber auch das nehme ich als gültigen Versuch an. Es gefällt mir auch, dass es unterschiedliche Interpretationen gibt, was die Chöre betrifft. Da kann ich ebenso gerne eine Aufführung mit einem "Großchor" verfolgen wie die Aufführung mit einem kleinen Ensemble wie bei Herrn Lutz. Verdienstvoll finde ich vor allem, dass die Kantaten Bachs doch von den unterschiedlichsten Ensembles aufgeführt werden. Sie also nicht mehr nur ein Nischendasein fristen müssen.

Das Problem bei vielen weiblichen Altstimmen (und einigen Sopranistinnen auch) ist, dass ihre Stimmen zu viel Vibrato haben. Ich kann dicke, warbische Opernstimmen nicht ausstehen. Diese Art von Singstimme ruiniert die Musik.

Young production crew, though, with that unfortunate mic placement blocking the face of the Bass soloist. Oops. Or perhaps the Bassist didn't stand where he was supposed to, more likely. Unusual for Bach to finish with two choral pieces back to back.
