Замечательное исполнение. Возвращаюсь к нему время от времени и каждый раз получаю огромное удовольствие. С исполнительской точки зрения отмечу очень хорошую артикуляцию, разнообразную, но ненавязчивую, органичную. Особенно хорошо звучит легато, та певучесть, которую практиковал и и которой учил своих учеников Бах. Это особенно нелёгкий тип артикуляции на клавесине. Тем более приятно слышать так совершенный результат. Браво!

I wonder how popular the Goldberg variations were in Bach's time? It seems like the recent popularity is due to Glenn Gould's interpretation. However, I love this performance - so many of the runs and decorations feel so right with the harpsichord

Neupert has come a long way since the old Revival days. I remember well the wars in the '60s and '70s between the Revival and Historical styles of harpsichord making. So glad we won!

@@hacmmgi6074 The conflict was between so-called "Revival" instruments that were based on piano construction and "Historical" instruments that were near-copies of antique harpsichords. The Revival instruments did not look, act, or sound like antique harpsichords, yet it took several years before the Historical style prevailed. Neupert is one of several makers that produced Revival instruments for many years, but now makes harpsichords in the Historical style.

Die Tempi, die sich scheinbar ganz selbstverständlich aufgrund des Instruments und der Akustik ergeben, die wunderbar ausgeführten und teils improvisierten Verzierungen, die Registrierung und der Wechsel der Manuale zur Klangfarbenerweiterung innerhalb eines Abschnittes und die wunderbare Artikulation, bei der man genau heraushört, wann ein Legato gemeint ist (das sich naturgemäß anders verhält als bei einem Klavier), all das lässt mich bewundernd und staunend diese großartige Musik genießen. En el video yo no había advertido que el instrumemto utilizado tenía uno doble, hasta que en un determimado momento ví la mano de la concertista que lo utilizaba. I love BWV 988, though I never understood the hype surrounding Glenn Gould's interpretations of it. Personally I find his constant humming to be extremely annoying. Besides I think harpsichord is a greatly undervalued instrument for the 988. I have a version by Ottavio Dantone which is my favourite of all interpretations I've heard. Sadly I can't find it here on YT, and I suspect it will be taken down if I do upload it.

pas d'accord avec le message plus haut .il faut rendre hommage au film, son acteur principal, au réalisateur génial de ce film auquel on peut donner plusieurs sens ( si rare ) dont celui ci : l'histoire d'amour impossible entre un tueur en série et son limier de flic à ses trousses Grand film qui a contribué à faire connaître le plus grand des compositeurs de tous les temps , une oeuvre géniale et envoûtante, un interprète attachant .Peu de cinéastes y sont parvenus ,alors musicien, je lui dis merci à ce cinéaste pour son superbe film et de m'avoir fait connaître les variations Goldberg de Jean -Sebastien Bach comme à des millions de personnes dans le monde ...Aussi et enfin : interprétation de tres belle qualité , captivante musique.
