It's definitely one of the most well-articulated performances of the Prelude & Fugue in A minor I've heard in some time. JV strikes me as the type of performer who could extract a symphonic sound out of a hand pumped portative organ of one rank, and make it look totally natural.

Love that P & F. The fugue is so fun. The sequences of descending fifths in the fugue are my favorite places. and of course the "Fantasie" ending is awesome

Sorry for my inadequate English. Johann Lexo is the king of non-legato, and I love it! My impression is that Johann make an attempt to bring this old music closer to the original baroque style, and he is welcome to do so - they are still too few doing that. Unfortunately I can not find more Bach-performances by Johann Lexo so far, but I want more - soon!
