La plus belle interprétation du prélude 939 au piano joué lentement très expressive. Les versions très rapide sont fades en comparaison. De mon point de vue, beaucoup d’interprétations des œuvres de Bach sont bien plus belles jouaient sur un rythme lent.

Bwv 939 it was so slowly but 999 so fast!

I just feel the 999 as a very "stormy" piece. Of course, I could play that in a lyrical way like if I was playing lute instead, but why not to stick with what I feel..? It's just a prelude. And I am pretty sury Bach NEVER put any tempo signiture to this. For sure not "andante", "moderato" or so and DEFINITELY not any quarter=90 mark or so... The fact that in some editions, you might find something like this, I completely ignore and I only trust to what I like myself here.

I liked the sound. Please, don't make a ritenuto (slow down) before the sixteenths notes. BTW, the bwv 999 is at least, the half of that fast tempo. In baroque era, the fastest thing was a horse, not a ferrari. Best regards
