I encourage you to persevere, it's worth it! In this piece, the last two beats of each measure are a repetition of the first two, so personally, I took advantage of that to look ahead and prepare myself... If it can help 🙃

It is pretty easy though. At least when compared to everyone's first recital piece, which Bach was credited for even though he technically didn't write it, Minuet in G. Someone with no piano experience could probably learn it easily after a few months of practice.

@@Thelegendofme , I consider Ave Maria as his most beautiful piece, however, I'm not so strong in Bach's music - maybe later I'll find something more beautiful. About being easy - it's definitely a trap. ))) I started learning this piece at the beginning of 2021, but was able to finish it only in 2024. And I'm yet not pleased with some technical aspects of my performance - I lack some dynamic handling, I'm still issuing some handache when playing fast, and so on. This piece only looks simple. ;)

I would tend to agree with you. The piece is simple to play in terms of notes, but in terms of nuances, there is always a challenge to interpret Bach's work well, in my humble opinion ;)

@@emilieplayspiano , exactly. Bach just seems easy for easy people, but a deep soul can discover that Bach's music is truly limitless.

@@vitalybedros7678i have also heard of some people taking a while on this one too. It might be a difference if someone has had professional piano lessons versus self taught at home. I took professional lessons as an Adult. I actually started around valentines day 2023 and just out of curiosity was able to get this piece down in about a week.
