Sechs hervorragende Berliner Geigerinnen spielen die drei Partiten und drei Sonaten von Johann Sebastian Bach in den nächsten sechs Wochen nacheinander in Werkreihenfolge in der Online-Premiere am Donnerstag. Es sind die Ersten Konzertmeisterinnen des Konzerthausorchesters Suyoen Kim und Sayako Kusaka sowie Viviane Hagner (Artist in Residence 2007/08), Carolin Widmann, Veronika Eberle und Midori Seiler, die dem Konzerthaus Berlin seit langem verbunden sind.
Am 28.05. spielt Veronika Eberle die Partita Nr. 2 d-Moll BWV 1004.

Credo di non sbagliarmi nel considerare questa interpretazione della Partita in Re minore di Bach, fra le prime cinque più memorabili di tutti i tempi. Questa donna sente Bach con la parte più profonda del proprio spirito e di Bach è forse ella stessa una tanto misteriosa, quanto inequivocabile reincarnazione.

This series of performances of the six solo Bach violin works is marvelous. Honestly I simply feel much less connection to the b minor and E major partitas, but the other four works are inexhaustible for me. The varied, unegotistical performances are full of character, expression and mastery of the innumerable technical difficulties. And they are all so different!
