This is the real haven on earth. It comes to us directly from God through his angelus musicalis J. S. Bach. And it is real blessing and the best prayer to sing or play it.

Obra magnífica. A textura da sinfonia com sua discrepante dinâmica é um momento de grande entusiasmo orquestral.

How about this?: Bach is the foundation of music, Mozart is the soul of music and Beethoven is the future of music.

Strefanasha thank you for your reply. However I used lower case. I believe man is created in Gods image and their music is inspired by the Spirit through His Word to the glory of the Father.

Bach resented God, because he did not recognize his talent... Do you know that after his death his wife had to beg on the street?...where was God?

Somehow Bach seems like the Silmarillion, it has a certain depth, a certain splendor

Giuseppe Guccione A most curious comparison...
@kryts275 жыл бұрын
The Silmarillon is a difficult novel to penetrate. I get the overall narrative, but there are many lands and many personages to track down, as well as overlapping stories in time and space. To confuse the matter further, the names are different in Noldorin (or high elvish) c.f. Sindarin (grey elvish) to refer to the same person, Vala or place.

OK, here is what we know: Bach composed the Mass in b minor very late in his life. The opening "Kyrie" is original. The vast majority of the entire rest of the work is made up of bits and pieces from his large number of Cantatas and other choral works. In fact the entire Gloria is from a Cantata . The chorus in the Cantata 29 shows up twice in the Mass; once in the Gloria and at the end in the Dona Nobis Pacem. The amazing thing is that he could take a section from a Cantata and transform it into a section of the Mass.
@emilianoturazzi6 жыл бұрын
just craft and not such a rare case in that age: compsers used to recycle their own works in order to provide all committments. the first section of this cantata became a prelude for solo violin... this is a bit more difficult :)

Lisa Ragsdale: Greetings from Lima, Peru. Thanks for your information about the origins of the beloved Mass in B minor. Please, let me contribute saying that, as is very well konwn, the Sinfonía of Cantata 29 is an organ and orchestral versión of Prelude of the Partita 3, BWV 1006. And let me quote a link from You Tube: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXa1oqWVZrChnM0 Thanks again.

+Jaman Dunn Ditto the first chorale is the same tune as 'Dona Nobis Pacem' - the end of the Mass in B. Fair enough to reuse stuff, given how much work he had to do!

Prelude (Partita 3 for violin solo) was arranged for this Cantata's sinfonia by Bach actually
