Well, in one episode, it showed tessa seemingly traumatized in one scene. In maybe episode 7 or something else on the screen in the lab, but Tessa was alive. So J couldn't have controlled J to kill tessa. Maybe long after, when tessa was an adult, cyn probably found Tessa and began to Dissasemble her. So, this is my theory. Edit: it is seen in ep 6 11:02. Not ep 7.

J wearing Tessa's bow is so sad, I hope we get to know her more in episode 8, I like that it is mentioned "you took me in, you were so kind to me, we would play dress up together, you only wanted friends", am I the only who would love to see more flashbacks from the Elliott Manor? before ep7 i didn’t care too much about J at all (since she was like. a huge jerk to N), but after it was revealed Tessa was dead the whole time, i couldn’t help but feel bad for her just imagine finding out your only friend, the only person you ever cared about, has been dead for years, and the person you’ve actually been talking to is the horrific eldritch abomination you never trusted in your past life who’s been *wearing your best friend’s rotting corpse pretending to be her* it’s going to be interesting seeing how she deals with the truth in ep8, considering both she and N both lost everyone important to them all within the span of a few hours. J’s definitely going to try and take it out on him, and N’s probably going to finally lose it and stand up for himself now that there’s no one left to calm him down. i don’t think he’s going to give her the ship keys (hopefully we’ll get to see that Spaceship Pilot Origin Story™️ put to use), but i can’t imagine he’d immediately take the ship to go looking for Uzi in space since he has no idea what happened to her. heck, i’m not even sure she *is* in space, it could be another one of Solver’s holograms, Cyn showing her a collapsed Copper-9 to freak her out. uhh got kinda off-topic there from the J stuff sorry- anyway it’d be interesting to see J try and avenge Tessa by fighting Cyn, but since her admin is still Cyn herself, unlike N and V, i think she’d get possessed and assimilated pretty quickly. apologies for the long comment, i think about murder drones too much haha EDIT HOW DID I FORGET TO COMPLIMENT THE ART THIS IS AMAZINGGSGSGDGDHDHHDFSFGSGDHDBDGDGDHDN AND J WEARING TESSA’S BOW IS SUCH A HORRIBLY SAD IDEA I LOVE IT
