@kokfa Thats not necessarily true. He may have just developed as a single side only. He became a naturalized citizen of Japan in 2004, he was 23/24 at the time. He graduated highschool in Japan, and took the name of his long time coach Yasuo Yoshida (the former coach of Mizutani, the Matsudairas, Chan Kazuhiro, etc). If he wanted to he could have learned it. Kan Yo on the other hand, was a member of the CNT beginning in 1998, and by that time he was already using RPB.

Yoshida has a strong body build, but inefficient skill set, bad first-three hits, and virtually very few and ineffective tactic. He is simply focusing too much on a lot of thing none-mainstream. His Japanese coach simply ruined his potential.
