He believed in the resurrection of Christ and believed that Jesus was Lord. Of course the sacramentalism that he taught was false. I’ll let God be the judge of whether Aquinas was a Christian. Scripture doesn’t say that you must have perfect doctrine to be saved and that you must teach justification by faith alone to be saved. Although we should all strive for perfect doctrine and we are truly justified by faith alone through God’s grace alone (so why would we teach any different?). Does that bar those from the kingdom who otherwise have a faith in Christ but then teach a works righteousness to others? Does it reveal that their faith is truly NOT in Christ but in their performance? Possibly. God knows.

He trusted Jesus died for the forgiveness of his sins. Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. It is evident from his writing he believed.
