For the last question the answer is actually different in the UK version of the text. I didn't recognize any of the multiple choice answers and I felt so sure the answer was a Satsuma, so I had to check and it is in deed a satsuma in the UK edition.

@@XxEvilTiggerxX I was think that too, so I had to check the other instance of Satsuma I know mentioned in the book, in book 6 at Christmas Mr. Weazely is eating a Satsuma and at the same time talking to harry about Stan Shunpike, sayin he isn't any more death eater than this satsuma (I always remember that since satsuma is my personal favorite of the circus fruits). But that seems unchanged in the American version, at least in the Jim Dale audiobook.

I had a nice idea for a kind of game to play with you guys. Cat reads to you a random passage from one of the books, something of the "Normal daily Hogwarts-Life", classes, Quidditch s.o., your job is to find out, from which book this sequence is You see a whiteboard with 3-4 possible answers, a chaper name with the book title and a timer. The longer Cat reads, the fewer points you can make, if you get the right answer - but if you answer too quickly, you eliminate an answers for your oppoment, who has to guess for half of the remaining points I think, this would be something nice and fresh and faar more challeninging, than you might think

I always thought the entrances were magically charmed to come up with their own passwords. The fat lady is the one who sets the password for Gryffindor Tower. The door knocker for Ravenclaw tower asks the riddle, and decides on the answer. I think hufflepuff has something to do with arranging barrels, at least it does in Hogwarts Legacy... So it is reasonable that the entrance to Slytherin is charmed to come up with it's own passwords, the charm being placed on the door by Salazar Slytherin.

I think Phinneas NIgelus calls Mundungus a half blood. That dosen't necessarily mean anything, as pure-bloods call anyone with mixed blood half-bloods even if it's further away in the line, but I think we can read it as maybe Mundungus grow up in an environment with one muggle parent and/or at least one set of muggle grandparents, in which case cars might have played a larger part in his life than it typically does someone who grows up all wizard. In the chapter they don't mention anything about mysteriously jumping to the front of lines or moving lamp post avoiding a swerving car. Aside from the inside being bewitched to hold more people than usual, it seems like it is just a car and Mundungus is actually driving it good enough not to remark on it.

A theory I have is that the invisibility cloak which is a deathly Hallows just wasnt that complex to make, still very rare but compared with the other two a highly skilled enough wizard could recreate it. Assuming you both have and equal and independent chance of guess the right answer at random, in order for J to get ahead, he need to guess the answer right (0.25) and Ben needs to guess the wrong answer (0.75). Thus, the probability comes out to be (0.25)(0.75)=0.1875. Of course, this is assuming each answer choice has an equal likely his of being picked and you both don’t eliminate any answer choices.
