Hey J and Ben, as a person who didn't read the books in English until as an afterthought yeas later, I've been thinking: could you do some sort of quiz where you try to guess things like names, spells or places from the Harry Potter series from all the translated works? Doing these quizzes myself and watching your content, I more often than not only understand things after you explain the context in which something came up or was used in. So would you be willing to flip that struggle on it's head and try figuring out the original things from the translations? I know this video is 2 years old but there is never a wrong time fora history lesson. 40:44 The whole fugded timing of MACUSA as side the answer for when the Minstry of Magic being formed in 1707 makes perfect sense. Our noble island has over the course of its history been many counties dating back to regional Kings and their Kingdoms, finally becoming the 3 main countries England, Scotland, and Wales and for a long time these were independent countries and in lore probably had their own wizard governments. However, in 1706 the Treaty of Union was agreed on by The Kingdom of England (which already included Wales at that time) and the Kingdom of Scotland. The parliaments of England and Scotland then passed the Acts of Union to bring the 2 Kingdoms together "Uniting into One Kingdom by the Name of Great Britain". It was all finalised in 1707 with the political union that took effect in May 1707. One would presume that the Wizarding world would have combined their independent Ministries at the same as the Muggles. Meaning it was possible for the American equivalent to be formed prior even if it technically could not have been called MACUSA because the Untied States wasn't thing at that time. History Side Note: The England and Scotland had shared a monarch since the Union of the Crowns nearly a hundred years earlier in 1603.

I think about this all the time especially in later years she hardly goes home. She used to go home for the summer and Easter and Christmas but se starts spending those with the weaslys later on. Like she must look so different when she comes home. Take book 4 where she shrinks her teeth. And then Harry can tell she's at headquarters most of the summer. And I'm pretty sure she goes for Christmas too it's crazy.
