Hey brother! I would love a ‘what if’ video, asking the question: “what if Sirius received a fair trial?” This would mean that he raises Harry, right? Harry’s 1st+2nd year are the same. 3rd year - could still have Wormtail go to Voldy, but Sirius isn’t the trigger this time. 4th year - Harry does better with the help of Sirius (I also think with his guidance Harry is a bit smarter) 5th year - similar, but Harry is not tricked at the ministry so Sirius doesn’t die. 6th year - similar? 7th year - this changes too as I’m sure Harry has already been to Godrics Hollow and seen his parents house and may know that Dumbledore grew up there? He might even have met Bathilda Bagshot before via Sirius’ introduction? I would love a theory where Sirius raises Harry or at the very least a series where he survives, so that Harry can have a parent figure in his life. This theory can also tap into the potential of Sirius Black, something that we never quite see.

Yes, but how could Dumbledore argue that against Sirius? I think Harry would have stayed with Sirius in a normal house, then after the 4th book (when Voldy returns) Sirius would have moved Harry to Grimuld Place. Sirius’ first priority is Harry’s safety and would overcome/set aside the hardships he himself had in that house - for Harry.

Conjunctiva is the mucous lining between your eyelids and eyeball. The suffix -itis means 'the inflammation of' So conjunctivitis is literally just the inflammation of the mucous lining of the eye/eyelid. You may have been thinking of gingivitis, which is the inflammation of the gums when you thought it was a dental thing lol

First job was for an optometrist; exams are supposed to be once a year and Conjunctivitis is pink eye. Optometric appointments check the overall health of your eye and not just your vision. It’s extremely important to get your eyes checked regularly!

While no Dragon would be particularly easy to get past, I too have always read the Welsh Green as being somewhat easier. Maybe it also has to do with the fact that it was obviously the one to be added last after Harry was chosen for champion. In Half-Blood when the muggle prime minister thinks back on all his encounters with Fudge, he thinks back to when Fudge tells him about the Quidditch world cup and that they are importing 3 dragons and a Sphinx, but at that time Fudge didn't know there were too be 4 champions, but the Welsh Green wouldn't be imported since it's native to Britain, so it stands to reason it was added last, and I've read it like they picked an "easier" dragon thinking there would at least be a 1/4 chance Harry got that one.

It’s actually really interesting cause we consider metaphysics (science beyond the physical) kinda wishy washy today, but a thousand years ago and long before that people such as Plato and Aristotle were considered experts on the soul as much as any scientist today is considered an expert in his field. The soul is that which animates the body, gives it life, so it actually is necessarily throughout your whole body. That being said, I also usually think of the soul being in my heart even though I technically know better lol

Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the eye. Fun fact for medical terms. If you see the phrase “itis” at the end of anything it means “inflammation of”. dermatitis (inflammation of skin), hepatitis (inflammation of hepatic system = liver), gastritis (inflammation of stomach), arthritis (inflammation of joints) meningitis (inflammation of membrane in skull) colitis (inflammation of colon) etc… The conjunctiva is a layer of tissue that covers the sclera (the white part of your eye) So if the conjunctiva is inflamed the white part of your eye will look pink I am not an optometrist. But I am a nurse. this was something I learned in nursing school. basically how to read Latin lol there’s a lot of prefixes and suffixes for words that mean different things. but yes “itis” means “inflammation”

As a parent and dog owner, conjunctivitis is an eye infection where there's a lot tearing and discharge. The discharge dries up into a crust (think morning eye crust, but a lot more) which can keep the eye shut if not cleaned regularly.
