hearing darren say that he's basically used to rejection because of false hope from other auditions breaks my heart because for those of you who don't know he was considered for the role of 'trevor' in the upcoming after sequel 'after we collided' but didn't get it and i'm honestly still mad about it because he would've been so perfect for the role but they gave it to dylan sprouse which no hate to him but i truly believe darren would've played / brought trevor's character to life so well!!

some of y’all need to quit bringing up darren’s age bcs it’s really not a big deal. teen shows are known for casting ppl who are way older than the character they’re playing. it’s okay to feel weird about their ten year age gap but there’s literally a contract that they signed so let’s not make too much of an issue out of it it. Besides, from their interaction, it seems that they don’t care about their ages. They wouldn’t have a natural chemistry if they did.
