You have a model approach for solving a problem bru. Most dudes I know would just start pulling and replacing shit, and not take the three minutes to find the root cause like you did.

Hey man my truck is a 2012. It was running fine with check engine on. I went on vacation for a week and when I try to start it the lights would come on, but it won’t crank at all. The only message i get it Maintenance required vehicle Ecu. And j1939 Communication error with Engine ECU. Please help me out with this if you have any idea what could it be

Good afternoon sir I wanted to know if you could please guide me in the right direction of a problem I'm having with my 2013 Freightliner Cascadia dd15 with on guard system the problem is out of the blue I would get a rsc system failed on my dash display then the tractor ABS light will come on and off when that happens the cruise will disengage and also the engine brake will start jerking when the abs light comes on onguard code I'm getting is a spn 516497 fmi 12 this life is very random thank you so much I know you're busy but I was hoping you could guide me in the right direction I do have diagnostic link so I could do testing if I need to oh yeah I love your videos

Thank you for the compliments much appreciated! My past experience with and issues with these trucks have been the wabco abs ecu itself, I would suggest to swap it out with a known good one same year truck etc, and test drive, the dealer can re-program the ecu that is defective. From past experience re-program the original ecu will last a few months, its a joke, they have to program the ecu to recognize certain priameters, or reset the ecu, if you buy a new ecu the dealer has to program it to the truck, it is rarely abs wiring issues on a freightliner just ecu issues, hope this helps, have a good one.

Great video, I currently have that issue with my 2015 cascadia evolution with the check engine lights on. I can clear the lights from the dash but it comes back after a while. Working to get the issue resolved
