Or the convention itself. I adore the show and the cast but there's no way I can see dropping over 1k to attend a convention. So I live vicariously through those who can, and their video posts.

spookybanana I was as frugal as one can probably get (partly because most stuff was sold out by the time I determined I could go to this con) but still likely spent close to $500 for just the hotel + tickets. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but general admission tix (sitting in the way back of the room) is ~$100/day; packages with better seats can cost $>500 (for whole weekend and includes some autos); hotels in downtown Vancouver near the con can cost $150-200+/night, autos + photos ops can cost $50-100s, and I heard the M&G's can also be hundreds of dollars each. If someone knows of good ways to save money hotels-wise (or anything-wise), please lemme know. =)

kurzkreis fuuuuck that's the worse news i had all week. i never even really thought about the costs. and m&g hundreds each? damn. that much for literally a conversation. and i live in england so it will be even harder. maybe they'll all come to the birmingham convention one day, i live in hope.
