I discovered Supernatural while caring for my parents who both have Alzheimers. I found this video this past Sunday when my mom passed away. It played a very large part in helping me get through that day. It is so,so beautiful. I can't even say how many times I've listened to it now. I hope Jensen knows that what he does touches people in such a positive way and helps some of us through some very difficult times. I wish I could tell him that.

okay, i keep watching this video and coming back to it because it was such a beautiful moment. but when he starts singing Wild Mountain Thyme, and i mean REALLY singing it, i always become speechless. because you can tell the first song was just him singing something that came to mind, and then Wild Mountain Thyme is him really sharing something with us. and it always warms my heart because he doesn't understand how good he is here (i still don't think he fully gets how talented he is today) and you can see it and god, he's *so* shy but he just sings anyway. and then he runs off stage, i don't know if he had a flight or not, but he runs off like, "oh my god i can't believe i just sang that i'm such an idiot," but little does he know, three years later, i'm watching this and smiling like crazy. oh, jensen. it wasn't horrible. it was beautiful and soft and amazing in every way imaginable that you shared this piece of your heart with us that day. and it will always be my favorite video of you singing.

My dad use to play his guitar and sing my older brother and I to sleep when we were little(and on occasion when I'm home visiting), even though my dad and I don't always get along sometimes, those songs and the memories of those times have always been with me. They are a great comfort in stressful times. I hope he realizes what a gift he is giving his little girl.
