Thanks to this video i successfully upgraded my Lenovo Z500 with a Samsung Evo 850 SSD (250 gb) and a Crucial 8GB DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) SODIMM 204-Pin. I also cleaned the fun without take it out, just with the tooth brusher and some mouth air. If you follow this video and you have patience you can easily disassemble your laptop!

I had to open Z510 to take out HDD and to put in a ThinkPad E480, opening ThinkPad I did without a video but this was like someone intentionally enjoyed designing laptop as a fkn puzzle! Thanks for the video it really helped

Clearly v positive feedback, but I think yr vid would be next level if you include speaking explanations and warnings as you go along. I did a similar build on z500 with great results using samsung 1tb ssd in caddy replacing dvd, and 250gv ssd to replace hdd for c drive. Suggest need explanation of software. Thus, I did necessary data backups and downloaded w10 to a usb thumb drive to do a clean windows install. Bit over the top but v happy. V fast sfartup. Could have added more ram but 8 gb ok for my needs. Still have very noisy fan but compare to video was not able to get it out for clean or replace.

I highly doubt that someone at the service centre replaced the JBL speakers with an ordinary one. I submitted my laptop because of a keyboard issue. Can you tell me how to identify if they have really replaced them with cheap speakers. Bcz they are too loud and delivers cracking sound.

someone told me that way the laptop couldn't use full speed of the ssd, but you can put 1000 regular hard drive in a caddy and inside the optical drive slot, and the ssd instead of the regular 1000GB hard drive

Hello there; I have this model, I turned off the laptop screen in the evening and left the pc in standby mode, when I wanted to turn on the pc after about 3-4 hours, the power button did not react at all, when I plug the pc into the charger, the charge light turns on but the pc does not turn on. (Note: Computer comfortable 7-8 years and it has never been changed, the videos I watched said that the battery may be dead, the battery can be removed and the pc can be turned on with a direct charge cable) What would you recommend? Where do you think the problem is?

Either the battery gave up on you, or the motherboard is toast.
