Having suffered catastophic data lost this summer and having the crasshed disk replaced by the same type of disk which now is making the same kind of noise I fear may indicate same imminent fate as the last one, I will be replacing it soon. Can you tell me what is needed affterwards..when you reboot with a fresh disk..I mean setting it up installing the OS etc?
