I didn't realize that Pam was from Boise, Idaho. A friend of mine, a biologist and Democrat who also lives in Boise and who will be getting married and starting a family, has explained to me the discomfort they feel living in a red state full of Maga zombies, why she believes her state is more dangerous than my red state of Missouri.
