Read the book by Dr. Justin Frank titled "Trump on the Couch". He does an in-depth analysis of Trump's childhood trauma that gave rise to his personality disorder. He describes the hole that Comey is referring to as "the horror of the internal emptiness". A great read.

Yes, we in the UK didn't get the exposure of Trump in The Apprentice. I remember talking to Americans on a river cruise in 2016. Those voting for Trump said ''we need a businessman running the country''. Their image of him as successful came from The Apprentice. Democrats, on the other hand, said ''but he's been bankrupt six times. He's not a success''.
