Well ..always delivered? His first round performance was pretty trash overall outside of the game winning layup and huge dunk and 4th qtr that game. He shot BELoW 39 percent for the series, heck in gMae 6? 4-14 and 0-5 from 3 with 5 TOs. How many games was Pat Bev getting by him at will? As well as all of the other wolves who got him switched onto them. Inhonelsty was blown away he didn’t get more crap for how bad he was playing most of the series, but then I remembered he is $$$$ for the league so it makes sense. But ya. If the wolves weren’t so stupid they would have won that series easily. And if I remember correctly, it was Tyus Jones and Bane who came up huge in a pot of the grizzlies wins. That being said, he did play great I felt Vs the warriors, on offesne. But again, they were down 1-2 when he goes out. Then while they go another 1-2 without him, they did secure what? 30 point win without him? Idk. He seems like he’s getting way overrated even tho he was one of my favorites as a rookie

Only losers have a problem with what Ja said. Anyone who has competed at a high level in athletics knows what he feels. I was an All-American in college and I would say the same thing if someone asked how I’d do against another competitor. Even if everyone knew I’d lose that match up, I would still bet on myself.

Exactly, he just has confidence in himself no matter the situation. I don't think it was simply irrational confidence to beat anyone no matter what

You're absolutly right ! Being confident is the least you need in high level competition. Even when you are not doing sport. It matters a lot

As you should! I don't understand how people don't get this. You become the best by believing in yourself. You don't wait for others to validate you.

fr like if someone ask u if u can beat mj why would u say no mj would destroy me obv u gonna be confident in ur self

There’s “another competitor” and then there’s the GOAT. You didn’t play pro so no need to drop “I was an All-American in college” on KZbin comments. Talk about a “loser”…

I feel like the media tries to paint grizzlies as arrogant but it's not that deep. although the same can be said about most teams.

Ja would definitely crack MJ.. but I'd be interested to see Ja's game development tho.. like.. we've no choice to think of Jordan in his prime. Jordan was always good but he wasn't always prime MJ. His first ring was at 28.

ja could cook mj but he would still lose gettin cooked and beating some 2 diff things but you right bout other stuff

@@Da6m2n hence why I said "crack"... as in what A.I. did lol.. can't throw shade to the GOAT even tho him and his colleagues still can't recognize Curry as the best 3pt shooter ever lol.

When Kobe was young and he had the same mentality about being able to beat MJ did people have a problem with him? or was that confidence and the right mentality? I have no prob with him saying that. MJ would destroy him but still. Also Messi the 🐐

A real.humble regular guy! I love ❤ the kid. Superstar! The next Michael Jordan if he doesn't get injured. Because of him.the Memphis Grizzlies are my Western Conference team Jimmy Butler + the Miami Heat my Eastern Conference team. I don't know who is cooler Ja Morant or Jimmy Butler? My two favorite Basketball players.
