Imagine achieving your dream only to have the world fall to pieces all around you.
Promiseland takes you on an intimate journey with future Rookie of the Year and NBA All-Star Ja Morant as he navigates the perils of the 2019-2020 season-not just a challenging year for live basketball, but for humanity. Apart from the suspension of his sport during his first year in the league, the young point guard must grapple with a world utterly transformed by a global pandemic and the urgent call for racial justice.
Morant is joined by a cavalcade of fellow NBA stars, including Carmelo Anthony, A’ja Wilson and many more as director Dexton Deboree takes you inside NBA’s Orlando bubble and on the road with Morant and the Grizzlies as they navigate the unprecedented disarray of the resumed season.

Crazy how im watching this documentary for the first time and to see how he grew up and the trouble he is in now is crazy!! Makes no sense the image he trying to portray now does not match how he came up and his dad know better man...just very disappointing to make it that far and fall backwards. I pray he tightens up and things get better.

He can jump, decent player, but a team player, not so much. The vibe I get from his style of play and the way he carries himself is, he thinks he's larger than life and he's not. He needs to try focusing less on that and more on his team play - less attempted highlight reel dunks and getting his team involved more.

No I love me I can just tell when a person doesn't know anything about sports like yourself because he is a team player and like Kobe he knows when he has to take over a game that's why the grizzlies had the second best record in the west and could have won it all if he didn't get hurt
@CinHalCedHerChance

@@dachosen1127 You can't tell, because I played ball myself. lol Ja' is all about himself first. Did you count the amount of missed dunks that he has attempted to make the highlight reels every night he plays? Dude is going to hurt himself one day.
