That is not a challenge, it is showing confidence in him.

Edey is a 4 year college player, mature by now. Zero concerns. Just need time to build chemistry.

Not one and done.

Would expect him to average around 15/10/2/2 on 55% shooting and 75% from ft which is definitely reasonable for him.

Ja? Every single person that's been asked about what they've seen from him has overwhelming confidence on him 🤷

Anyone remember when Zach was just a freshman and sophomore learning how to catch the ball? Yeah he was playing with Jaden Ivy who loves to get downhill as a smaller guy and Zach was putting up somewhere near 40 and 20 per 40

Omg can yall let this man say ONE thing without overreacting goddamn
@TheBasketballBulletin16 күн бұрын
Don't think it's overreacting when he says he should easily win ROY. That's setting a high bar, we will see if Edey can do it.

Nah fr tho it’s not that serious

@TheBasketballBulletin i would agree with you BUT what was the entire narrative around this years draft? The answer is that this class is pretty mediocre for the most part so why is it such a big deal for him to say that?
@TheBasketballBulletin16 күн бұрын
@@tylerarmstrong1268it sets a high expectation when you say he’s easily going to win it. Maybe Ja is right and he does, but even in a weak class it’s bold

Well, Ja gets clicks. Also, if you don't know the how good players get on the Grizzlies, I can see why he'd people can think that

100% would. Have nothing against Ja

This is a great fit, though his numbers are going to be mostly defensive. I think they have to continue to space the floor and will need Zach out of the paint to start most possessions.
@TheBasketballBulletin16 күн бұрын
We saw Edey shoot threes a little in the lead up to the draft but don't think I trust that in an NBA game right now. Spacing would get dicey if Smart and Morant aren't respected behind the arc
@philliphart632716 күн бұрын
@@TheBasketballBulletin good point about smart/Ja also having marginal 3pt%. Maybe they will try to renew their fast pace, transition offense to sidestep some of the issues.
@redhorse665215 күн бұрын
3s aren't necessary. Zack set a pick Ja drives and kicks back. For a 15 foot jump shot.

well he most likely will start or be 6th or 7th man on that team he just has to show out

I guess he still thinks he's fine in the west

They were fine when he said it. Injuries made them 2nd seed, but that's how it goes. 90% of the time, healthiest top 5 team wins the chip
