I think that people were still on the fence when the beef was kept between him and 50. Ja sorta held his own, especially with the backing of Black Child. But once Ja brought Eminem and Shady-Aftermath into it then he was cooked. I wish he never brought all those other people into it. Admittedly I loved Ja Rule but once he mentioned an innocent child, when Em wasn't in the beef, and then had the 2 hottest rappers flaming him, I did turn my back on Ja. In a way he did it to himself. Looking back I realize how petty, jealous and moronic 50 was though.

@@marksommers4179that's the real turning point between the beef... Like u said Queenz and New York was straddling the fence, not necessarily 50/50 but yea...soon as he put Hailey name in his mouth, Em being a mainstream juggernaut with white fans/white fans just starting to listen to rap/black non biased fans that appreciate hip hop and casual fans backing em for support went right along as 50s ammo

Well, Ja Rule was massive in the early 2000s. Then 50 Cent emerged and hurt Ja's credibility. People started to side with 50 as he was a hot up and comer and had more street cred. But when Ja Rule dissed an innocent child and brought Eminem into the beef then he destroyed himself. He then had the 2 hottest rappers ripping him apart and telling everyone what a fraud he is. Not only Eminem and 50, but also a legendary producer in Dr Dre and a legendary MC in Busta Rhymes. Ja had no one behind him and got mollywhopped. It sucks because of that he's been hated and forgotten. His big mistake was bringing Eminem and Shady-Aftermath into it. If he kept it between him and 50 he would've survived it.

Can we stop singling out female rappers. Stop creating controversy for clicks. Now there are articles going around over his comment about Nicki and leaving out MC's before her. It is not a competition in female rap. The ladies who started in the 80s and 90s were dope MC's and most of them all decided to venture into other opportunities and rapping was no longer a priority. Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Kim are business women and decided to go another route. Queen is the biggest success in entertainment period. Lyte has her own business venture. Kim still performs because it still makes her a lot money and her music streams in high numbers even today but she been stop roboting for the music industry, not signed to a label and making all the independent money and I believe she has TV endorsements. Eve went another route too having her show. So, when we talk about being solidified in rap. All those ladies have ALREADY solidified themselves and explored other business opportunities which was smart. I do know this for a fact. If Kim, Foxy, Eve, Trina all came back hard signed to a major label working with the hottest producers, they could kill it at any moment. I think it's time out for these interviewers for stop tricking people into commenting on artist to create controversy and talk more about comradery. Let's not forget Missy Elliot who just did was she does best about three or four years ago rapping like she still fresh in her prime with the most creative videos. Talk about still solidified.

The 50cent stuff he should have had no part in, he was never a "gangster" rapper and couldn't back up his lyrics against 50/shady etc.. So he should have just took the L and moved on. I think he's a solid man, im glad he's doing well in life and i even hope he makes new music but whichever manager he had costing him movie roles and pushing him into a beef with 50 should be fired or jsut admit it was dumb
