Easy now. Hes not one of the goats. People throw around with that Word so much, that it has lost its real meaning. He deffinitly dominated the music scene at a time, but its was all girly and very poppish records. Made good music though. But he didnt have longevity and after 50 ended him and murder Inc, he kinda vanished for a looong Time. Also worldwide he doesnt really have any impact. Overall a good artist but not anywhere near top 50 all time. Unless your a huge ja rule fan lol.

I just wanna say I’m 26, my mom, brother and I used to listen to Ja Rule heavy back in the day when I was mad young, we had the album Rule 3:36, as a youngin I didn’t understand why Ja left the scene because the hits were amazing, but I knew for a FACT Ja Rule would win the verzuz, I never counted him out and I never knew he had so much to prove because in my mind it was never a dispute. If anyone was counting Ja Rule out they was just sleep on life.

I'm not gonna lie, I always knew Ja was talented, I had a lot of respect for his music since the beginning, and I thought he was real dope. It was his beef with Em and 50, where I changed my opinion of him, and was shitting on him heavy, because I'm more of a fan to them. But I can honestly say coming from a fan of those two more, that Ja definitely deserves his flowers and Rose's while he's still here with us. Whether people like it or not, he's still an OG and we need to start showing more and more love to our OGs regardless because we losing to many of them to still be stuck on this beefing shit.

Ja Rule is right, he was one of my favorite artists since middle school and still is. 50 had people disliking him and just like everything else, it went away over time but real and true fans still love Ja and his work. The man is humble, highly talented, and you can tell from everyone that he knows, he's a genuine person. I also applaud Fat Joe since he took up for Ja and even said that people are afraid to go against someone like Ja but did it for the culture and to give his homie the roses he deserves. I hope Ja drops new music soon or in the future. I would love to see him collab with Hov, Ashanti, Joe, and new artists

I was in college the height of Ja / 50 beef. The amount of hate Ja got from everyone was unreal. I was legit the only dude trying to dumb it down for the idiots on what was really going on with Murder Inc and the feds. I defended Ja rule thru and thru. Ja rule is truly a Goat and my favorite artist all time. It’s great to see him get his respect once again.

Same thing with me. I knew something wasn’t right with the 50 & Ja Rule beef until I bought The Source magazine with the article about the Feds taking down Murder Inc during the beef. When I read it, I understood. I wasn’t even a 50 Cent fan. I always fucked with Ja since 99 even though there were certain records that I wasn’t a fan of during 2001-2002 but I still had a lot of respect for him. That Fed shit was real. I was talking to people at my high school about it and they were so much into 50 Cent that they didn’t care and they was rolling 50 anyway.
