Paonta Sahib Gurudwara is a prominent Sikh pilgrimage site located in the town of Paonta Sahib in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The gurudwara is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who spent several years of his life at this place.
The gurudwara complex houses a number of buildings, including the main prayer hall, langar hall, a museum, and a library. The main prayer hall is known as the Darbar Sahib, which is where the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, is kept and where regular religious services are held.
The gurudwara is also famous for its annual Hola Mohalla festival, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fanfare. During this festival, Sikh warriors, known as Nihangs, display their martial arts skills and engage in mock battles.
The Paonta Sahib Gurudwara is a significant religious and historical site for Sikhs and attracts a large number of devotees and tourists from all over the world.
